National Level Science Talent Search Examination (NSTSE) is a diagnostic test which aims to help students enhance their learning ability and further, educational performance. Unlike any other test, NSTSE analyses how well a student has understood the concepts. A detailed feedback on the same is provided to the student to help him/her improve.

NSTSE is conducted by Unified Council which believes that focus on fundamentals is very important as major competitive exams like IIT JEE, NEET, AIIMS, GRE, GMAT, CAT test the fundamental strength of a student. It mainly emphasises on Science and Mathematics.

NSTSE has questions that require thinking ability and not just a recall. It provides detailed feedback to a student which is both skill-wise and highlights strengths and weaknesses. A student can directly register for the exam at Unified Council’s website or can also, register through school.

Each class (I to XII) has a different question paper and all the questions are objective type i.e. multiple choice questions with no negative marking for an incorrect answer.
